It's not about the tears
That fell from my eyes
It's all about everytime
You opened your hands
To catch them one by one
It's not about my pain
Nor the agony I can't explain
It's all about the truth
I see in every suffering
That turned into a great blessing
It's not about the many times
I stumble and fall
It's all about your love and forgiveness
The grace you can't resist
It's not about my fears
And my hopes in the future
It's all about the perfect plan
You prepared for me, where
Triumphantly, I'll stand!
And JESUS answered:
It's not about the agony and grief
I brought with me to the cross of death
It's all about your beautiful smile I see
Everytime you proclaim and say
"Hey, I'm not astray!"
